Details
When a collection outgrows a box, it needs a cabinet. The Archivist holds twenty-four pens across two tiers: twelve on show beneath a tempered-glass lid up top, and twelve more in a felt-lined drawer below, behind a pair of machined-brass pulls.
The whole carcass is solid walnut with splined mitre joinery and a hand-rubbed oil finish — built like furniture because it is furniture. The upper tray lifts out so you can carry pens to the desk or rearrange the display, and every trench is wool-felt lined and spaced for caps and clips.
It's the centerpiece of a collection: substantial, quiet, and made to be passed on with the pens inside it.
