What size pens fit the trays, rolls, and cases?
The Atelier Pen Tray fits barrels up to 16 mm, the Voyager Leather Roll up to 17 mm, and the Curator Display Box up to 18 mm. That covers most fountain pens, rollerballs, and mechanical pencils, including oversized models. Slim pens are held securely too.
Will the felt or leather scratch my pens?
No. Every channel and slot is lined with dense wool felt or backed with suede, so nibs, caps, and clips never touch bare wood, metal, or each other. The leather roll's flap folds over the nibs before it rolls closed.
Is the wood solid or veneered?
Solid throughout. The trays and display case are made from solid American black walnut (or white oak) — no veneer and no plastic. The brass dividers and clasps are turned from solid bar stock and develop a warm patina with handling.
How do I care for the leather and wood?
Wipe wood with a dry cloth and re-oil it once a year with any food-safe wood oil. Keep leather dry and condition it with a leather balm two or three times a year. Each order includes a care card with the details.
Shipping
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
Standard U.S. shipping is free on orders over $75.00 USD, otherwise a flat $6.95 USD. Orders ship in 1–2 business days and typically arrive 3–7 business days after dispatch. Exact rates are shown at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship to United States, Canada, United Kingdom, EU, and Australia. International duties and taxes, where they apply, are the recipient's responsibility. See our shipping policy for details.
Returns & refunds
What's your return policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to return items in unused, resalable condition with their original packaging. Engraved or otherwise personalized pieces can't be returned unless they arrived defective. See our returns policy for the full details.
How long do refunds take?
Once we receive and approve your return, we process the refund within 2 business days. It then takes roughly 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
Payment & security
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) plus Apple Pay and Google Pay, processed securely through Stripe.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes. Our site runs over encrypted HTTPS and all payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor. We never see or store your full card number.
